Description

  • Financial Reporting/Controlling/Coordinating:

    • Take a part the Financial Reporting function in the Group with responsibility for delivery of period end financial reporting package and management accounts in line with agreed timetables
    • Take a part and help with implementation of an efficient monthly accounting close process and consolidation, including collection of budget information
    • Responsible for preparation of half year and full year financial accounts for local audit and coordination of all statutory filings
    • Participate in the adoption and implementation of the parent company's policy
    • Be fully aware of changes to local GAAP in countries the business operates, seeking to avail of opportunities to simplify statutory and tax accounting
    • Understand IFRS or US GAAP standards including Revenue Recognition
    • Participate and fully understand budgeting in a multinational group
    • Ensure all relevant aspects of the Groups Control framework are adhered to
    • Ensure risks and opportunities are identified throughout the financial close process and work with other members of the finance team to ensure appropriate mitigation is in place
    • Work with Department Heads (Administrative, HR, IT, others) in identifying and remedying any control weaknesses so that financial reporting processes are continuously improved
    • Responsible for cash flow consolidate report for 3 legal entities
    • Audit and simplify accounting department Work Flow according company requirements
    • Take a part of legal process, review financial part of the agreements
    • Back up of the Director of Finance during absence time.

    Financial Systems:

    • Drive change and identify opportunities to drive improvements in local reporting systems. Support integration and future migration to ERP systems at parent company level
    • Take part in the delivery of efficient reporting inside the business.

    Management/Relationships:

    • Work with Department Heads in driving the fundamentals of cost control throughout the business
    • Ensure the Financial/Accounting Reporting structure is suitable for current and future business needs.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ of experience in a Finance Manager / Finance Controller and Chief Accountant Role supervising people. Chief Accountant skills, as well as Finance area experience are ground requirement for this position
  • Minimum 2+ years in a multinational corporate environment in Finance/Accounting
  • Significant external audit/reporting
  • Strong background in RAP, Financial Planning, Analysis and Budgeting
  • Possess knowledge of GAAP (Local, US GAAP and IFRS)
  • Strong system skills including experience with any of the ERP system, 1C, QB
  • Hands on skills in general accounting, account analysis and reconciliation
  • Must be able to multi-task and take ownership
  • Written and oral English communication skills are required
  • Strong knowledge of Russian accounting practices and policies
  • Preference for previous experience working for Western subsidiary located in Russia
